We are Lizzie Klotz and Luca Rutherford, an interdisciplinary duo working together since 2019 across dance, theatre, public art, installation and community engagement. We create playful, vibrant and responsive work, rooted in joy and community within rigorous dramaturgical structures.

Lizzie Klotz is a Gateshead-based choreographer, performer, facilitator and creative producer. Her practice spans performance for theatre, outdoors, and film, prioritising care and joy for all those who make and encounter it.

Luca Rutherford is a Newcastle-based writer, performer, dramaturg and creative producer who makes bold, playful and socially engaged work that sparks conversation inside and outside theatre spaces.

Together, our work has been commissioned by organisations including No More Nowt, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Yorkshire Dance, Spin Arts, Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF) and TeesDance.
